Call for papers/essays and creative work for Full Bleed 10. Theme: DELIVERY

Type: Calls For Papers [View all]
Posted by: Maryland Institute College of Art
Deadline: Thu, December 31st, 2026

Full Bleed, the literary and art magazine of Maryland Institute College of Art, is open to submissions of art, essays, poems and stories for our tenth annual issue.

The theme? Delivery: to free, to hand off, to give birth. A manner of speaking, a system, a service. Send us poems, stories, essays, and art about the act of conveyance in any form, from mailbox to ballot box to ambulance, text chain to chain of custody, customs office to deportation plane, coffee chat to Paper Plane. Slips and slip-ups and strange arrivals: what can be delivered, and what can’t?

We’re open through December 31, unless we reach our submission caps early; send your best work at the earliest opportunity. Submission details and previous issues are available at our website: www.full-bleed.org
