Registration 

Register today for the CAA 115th Annual Conference, February 3–6, 2027, at the New York Hilton Midtown.  

With over 275 timely sessions, workshops, and events held on location, plus a selection of hybrid sessions and events, attending the CAA 2027 conference is a must.

After registering, you can read the session abstracts and create your custom schedule. During the conference, attend the selection of hybrid sessions by taking a seat in one of the special hybrid rooms or remotely via the conference schedule. Session content recorded during the conference will be available for All-Access registrants to view after processing, through April 17.

The popular Book and Trade Fair will be hosted on location February 3–6 at the New York Hilton Midtown and online February 3–April 17.

All-Access Registration 

All-Access paid Registration includes:  

• All session access February 3–6 (in-person and hybrid sessions). 
• CAA special events and conversations. 
• All No-cost registration events. 
• Book and Trade Fair (in person and online). 
• Immediate access to session abstracts, as well as a downloadable version of Abstracts2027.pdf in the weeks leading up to the conference. 
• All recorded content (viewable to CAA115 registrants until April 17, 2027).

Book and Trade Fair  

Book and Trade Fair registration is a low-cost option for access to the fair only (in-person and online formats). 

No-cost registration  

No-cost registration includes access to conference key events (Convocation, Annual Artist Interviews, Distinguished Scholar Session), CAA Committee and Affiliated Society Business Meetings, Workshops, Services to Artists Committee (SAC) programming and Student and Emerging Professionals Committee (SEPC) programming. Please note this no-cost registration permits access to only these programs and events.

GROUP REGISTRATION

Institutional Members; register your group at this link. 

Institutional Members registering conference participants (chairs, presenters, and discussants) should complete group registration by January 8th to ensure participants are registered before the conference.

October 7–February 6: Online registration available 24/7 until February 6. 

During the conference on location

Wednesday, February 3: 8 a.m.–6 p.m

Thursday, February 4: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

Friday, February 5: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

Saturday, February 6: 8:00 a.m.–4 p.m.

* Onsite Registration/badge pickup on the Second Floor Promenade at the New York Hilton Midtown 

* A “participant” is a conference attendee participating in a scheduled session, usually as a chair, presenter or discussant. 

IMPORTANT NOTES 

To be sure you are served the participant or member rate, enter the email associated with your CAA account when registering. 

Conference participants (chairs, presenters, and discussants) must maintain an active CAA membership and complete conference registration in order to participate in the Annual Conference. Please confirm your membership status before registering.

CAA Annual Conference registration is not refundable.

Conference Support Grant Applicants

If you have applied for a Conference Support Grant, please wait to register until award notifications have been sent. CAA cannot provide reimbursements for registrations completed before support grant decisions are announced.

Institutional Registration

If your institution will be registering you for the conference, please do not complete an individual registration. Confirm your registration process with your institution before submitting payment. CAA cannot provide refunds for individual registrations completed before institutional registration is processed.

With your all-access registration, as virtual/remote attendee, or in person, your registration provides: 

• Access to all session and presentation abstracts. 
• Access to over 50 live hybrid sessions and events (some convened in Zoom others on location in New York). 
• Ability to connect (through your profile in the schedule) with session participants and CAA leadership 

After the conference dates, registrants can: 

• Watch recordings of sessions you might have missed (and after captioning and processing, access based on your registration type). Recordings are available after posting through April 17, 2027.
  • Please note this applies only to presentations that CAA was granted permission to record. Your best bet is to attend live sessions.
