Museum Committee
Description
The Museum Committee represents the interests of public and private institutions in the visual-arts sector, in order to exercise influence and share efforts on issues of mutual importance.
Current Projects
The Museum Committee’s current projects include:
- Ongoing discussion with CAA’s executive director, president, vice president for committees, and director of programs about adding a Museum Award for Lifetime Achievement to CAA’s Awards for Distinction. The committee expects to present a resolution to the CAA Board of Directors in 2009
- Recrafting the committee’s charge and submitting it to the CAA board for approval
