CONTEMPORARY VENICE – 18th Edition 2026 is an open international call for artists presented by ITSLIQUID Group in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian‑German Cultural Association. The exhibition will run in Venice from March 6 to March 20, 2026, predominantly at Palazzo Albrizzi‑Capello and other historic venues. It invites practitioners across painting, photography, video art, installation, sculpture, and performance to participate in a group show featuring a curated selection of international talents.

The theme explores the evolving relationship between the body and the spaces we inhabit, examining how identities are shaped, transformed, and hybridised in contemporary cultural, physical, social, and urban environments. The exhibition is structured in two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES, focusing on inner dimensions and the relational body; and FUTURE LANDSCAPES, opening onto conceptual spaces where boundaries dissolve and imagination expands. Artists are encouraged to present work that reflects on human experience, perception, and new spatial narratives.

 

Since 2001, ITSLIQUID has produced hundreds of international art events and collaborated with prestigious institutions worldwide, offering participating artists professional exhibition spaces, press support, logistics assistance, and visibility within the global art community. Submissions must include a CV/biography, images, and links where relevant; the deadline is February 8, 2026 (11:59 PM local time).
