Acolá is an independent cultural space, promoted by artists and for artists.
Our space is quite large, full of colors, balconies, halls and workshops. We are located in the neighborhood of Jardim Sao Paulo, a quiet,charming neighborhood, with lots of trees in the north of São Paulo-BRAZIL.It’s filled with squares,parks,shops, and it’s close to the metro station and SESC Santana.
We create,produce,interact and exchange ideas with the surroundings and artists who come from all over the world.
Here we create synergy, reflection,share ideas, generate action and transformation through
occupations,workshops, meetings,exhibitions and other various alternative actions.We propose a critical and transforming view for the intersection of themes such as:the environment and sustainability+impact and benefits of new media, media and technology+the city, its daily lives and growth.We integrate artists and researchers residents to residents of the region, where they share their knowledge.
