Call for Art: RECLAIM
Type: Exhibition Opportunities [View all]
Posted by: St. Louis Artists' Guild
Deadline: Fri, October 6th, 2017
The St. Louis Artists’ Guild is accepting entries for RECLAIM. This regional (Missouri and Illinois) all media juried exhibition seeks artists with a sincere concern for the environment. We encourage artists who make work from repurposed and recycled material that confronts mass consumerism to enter by October 6, 2017; 11:59 pm. This type of artwork is rooted in the tradition of found object and assemblage projects, but also includes self-reliant individuals who see multiple uses for items and materials. By using materials in a new and fresh way, artists are a mirror for society’s use of short-lived and disposable products.
