FotoFilmic is excited to announce applications are now open for its 2nd SOLO EXHIBITION AWARD juried by Magnum photographer & acclaimed Minnesota artist Alec Soth!

 Emerging and mid-career film & analogue photographers around the world ready to break new ground and gift their most accomplished work with a major public endorsement from juror Alec Soth only have a month to apply: Applications close Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at midnight Pacific Time.

PRESTIGIOUS MENTORING
FotoFilmic//SOLO is a new original series of juried international calls designed to provide some of the most respected and influential photographers today the opportunity to directly mentor the next generation of photographic artists working on film and analogically. The 1st edition juried by Todd Hido concluded last month and will celebrate the work of Los Angeles photographer Jill Beth Hannes through the first FotoFilmic//SOLO Award Exhibition October 14-December 3, 2017.

AWARD
On top of a 1-month one-person solo exhibition with FotoFilmic, SOLO EXHIBITION AWARD Winners also see their work published as part of a new printed collection of 8″x10″ SOLO Catalogues with forewords by their respective jurors and are the subject of multiple other publications including a FILM TALKS interview. 2 Runners-Up also get published online as part of each SOLO Exhibition page.
