Open call for artist in residence

We offer short-term residency programs in Belgrade, Serbia. We welcome all artistic disciplines and encourage the exchange of ideas between residents and local artists.  

Duration of residency: From 1 week to 3 months

Companion allowed

Working language: English

Accommodation:  separate apartment 

Fees

Fees paid by the artist include accommodation in a separate apartment (accommodation, electricity, water, heating, WI-Fi internet, towels, bed sheets and cleaning services) and our organization (logistics, introductions to local art professionals, workshops, visiting exhibitions, artists studios, visiting Faculty of Fine Arts and meeting with professors,  seminars, etc). We can also put you in touch with relevant professionals, including art historians, curators, local artists, and galleries in order to facilitate artistic collaboration.

At the moment, grants are unfortunately not available. Artists are responsible for all costs, however, we can assist you in applying for funding.

Application criteria

There is no specific application form. The application should contain a CV, a brief project proposal, period of your stay (with alternative dates), documentation of earlier works and preferably some info about yourself as an artist and your artistic practice.
