ON::View Artist in Residency

Sulfur Studios is accepting proposals for the July, August and September sessions of the ON::View Residency Program, which provides a free, high visibility studio space for an artist to complete a four week project. ONE of the three selected residents will also be offered a $500.00 stipend to help cover materials, travel or lodging.
Located just inside the lobby of Sulfur Studios, the residency space is 12 x 14 feet, with built-in movable walls and shelving, which can be closed off and locked when the resident is not in. The residency studio has large, street level, east facing windows, which will allow the community to view residents’ work outside of public open hours. Artists may work in any medium suitable to the space. Successful applicants will propose a project that will engage the community over the course of the residency period. Artists will have multiple opportunities to meet and connect with the local art community over the course of the residency.
