CALL TO ENTER: "35 Under 35" @LBIF

The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences, Loveladies, New Jersey, invites applications to "35 Under 35", 2024, a Juried Competition & Exhibition opportunity for emerging, early career artists. LBIF will showcase 35 works of art created by artists 18 to 35 years of age.  Artists who currently live and/or work in the following states are eligible to apply: NJ, PA, CT & NY.

Mediums eligible for submission includes drawing, painting, hand-pulled prints, photography, mixed media, wall-hung 2D materials in the crafts, video, computer generated digital work displayed as prints. Large scale 2D artwork is encouraged. More information can be found on LBIF’s website.  

The Juror is Ruba Katrib, Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs at MoMA PS1 in New York, who will select 35 artworks to be on display in our spacious Gallery. There will be an award of $500 for first prize, $250 second prize, $100 third prize and three honorable mentions. Online sales of the selected artwork is planned to accompany the Gallery exhibition.

Deadline: Submissions are due by May 24, 2024 (11:59pm EST).

The exhibition dates are July 20 through August 18, 2024.
