Theme: Known for their x-ray-like aesthetic, a photogram is a camera-less process in which objects are placed on top of unexposed light-sensitive paper and exposed to light. The objects render differently depending on the chemistry to create a one-of-a-kind photographic object. Encompassing processes like traditional silver printing, anthotypes, cyanotypes, and lumens, almost any photographic process and render a photogram. For this exhibition, Don’t Take Pictures collaborates with Baldwin Photographic Gallery at Middle Tennessee State University to present an exhibition of contemporary photograms.
Exhibition: The exhibition will be published in Don’t Take Pictures Online from August 19 – November 24, 2020. Select photographers will be chosen for exhibition at Baldwin Photographic Gallery, Middle Tennessee State University.

Submit: File specs:
- 72 dpi
- sRGB
- JPEG
- No less than 1024 pixels and no more than 1500 pixels on the longest side.
Email up to three photographs to: info@donttakepictures.com with “Photograms” in the subject line.
