University of Nevada Las Vegas Graduate Assistantships in Art For Fall 2022

The University of Nevada Las Vegas Department of Art invites artists applying for the Fall 2022 MFA Art Program to apply for Graduate Assistantships in teaching, research, and professional development in Art. Graduate assistants, or GAs, have the unique dual role: they are both graduate students and research or teaching assistants who contribute to the academic mission of the university. Graduate students awarded these competitive positions receive a stipend and benefits package for their work in the classrooms, offices, and laboratories of the university. Graduate Assistantship packages in the Department of Art include tuition waivers for 9 credits for Fall semester, 9 credits for Spring semester, and 3 credits for Summer Session; a $15,000 9-month contract; and healthcare insurance covered 100% by their employment. These Graduate Assistantships financially support and advance students who have rare opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research, contribute to the development of curriculum, manage studios and shops, and work alongside community members, local organizations, and other departments on campus.
