Call for Art: Southworks National Juried Exhibition

Watkinsville, Ga - The Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) announced that the Call for Artists is open for the annual SouthWorks exhibtion, a juried exhibition that attracts artits from all over the nation. Submissions are open to all U.S. Residents who are 18 or older. All works of art must be original and created by the submitting artist. No prints of original artwork will be accepted. The deadline to submit work is ovember 5, 2021. The exhibition will be on view at OCAF from January 14 through February 18, 2022. ABOUT THE JUROR: This year’s juror is Marcia Wood, owner of the Marci Wood gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. The gallery represens artits of merit who are making notable contributions to the field of contemporary art. The roster encompasses exceptional young artists at the onset of their careers to internationally established masters. Marcia Wood ha been working in the arts in Atlanta and assisting artists with their careers since 1983. Marcia Wood Gallery was founded in 1995. 

CASH AWARDS:

Several cash awards are given, including:

Best in show = $500

1st place = $250

2nd place = $100

People’s Choice = $100
