Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology – Director of the Art Therapy Program
The School of Arts and Sciences of Holy Family University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology with a start date of August 2022.
This faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses in counseling psychology as well as more advanced courses in the Art Therapy Program.
All employees must understand the mission of Catholic higher education and be committed to the core values, mission, goals and objectives of Holy Family University.
Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
· Assume the Directorship of the Art Therapy Program
· Leadership in the ongoing CAAHEP/ACATE accreditation of the Art Therapy Program
· Teaching in our Art Therapy program.
· Supervision and advising of Art Therapy students.
Qualifications:
· Candidates may possess a masters in Art Therapy or a doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Art Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies, Counseling Psychology or a related field.
· Candidates must also be a professionally credentialed art therapist: Registered and Board-Certified Art Therapists (ATR-BC), ideally with licensure in a mental health related field (e.g. LPC).
