The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit works that in someway incorporate beds. Open to any and all traditional and non-traditional visual arts 2d, 3d, or 4d media, genre, and subject. 

 

This is your most private space. This is your safest and most intimate space. This is the place where you let your guard down enough to sleep, where you become a dreamer.

 

Beds welcome us into the world, support our healing, and carry us through the narrow gate at the end of a lifetime. The bed is where most of us spend a full third of our life, unravelling the toils of each day’s work, compacting the form of our bodies into its welcoming surface day after day.

 

BED is a call for works about this sanctuary of humanity.

 

$40 for up to FOUR entries submitted. $5 per each additional entry.

 

 

ANNUAL CASH AWARD: The annual Manifest Grand Jury Prize will result in the awarding of one significant cash prize ($5000) to a single work selected as the ’best of the entire season’.
