Kipp Gallery at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is accepting proposals for solo and group exhibitions for the 2023-2024 academic year. All media will be considered. Kipp Gallery is located in Sprowls Hall on the campus of IUP in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

 

The gallery has approximately 1200 square feet of exhibition space with three main walls approximately 10 feet tall by 35 feet long. The fourth wall is glass with 8 feet by 5 feet doors. The gallery has 3 projectors and 5 large flat-screen monitors that are available for use during exhibitions. Artists are responsible for transportation/shipping of artwork to and from the gallery, but a stipend will be provided for attendance at the opening reception and an artist lecture which may help to offset costs. The artwork in the gallery will be secure at all times, and is insured by the university during the exhibition. 

 

Proposals should include the following: contact information, current resumé(s), artist or curatorial statement, 10 images of work, and a corresponding image list with title, media, size, and date. Notifications will be sent via email in January 2023.
