ELIGIBILITY: This exhibition is open to photographers, lens based or lensless, video and photo related artists from the United States. All photographic and related processes are encouraged including digital, video, non-silver, photo & mixed media as well as photographic book arts. Pieces must not exceed 60 inches in any dimension.
THEME: Open Theme
JUROR: Shana Lopes, Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).
ENTRIES & ACCEPTED WORKS: Entries are accepted until Nov 14th, 2022 Midnight CST. Accepted works must be ready to hang and delivered to the gallery by February 17, 2023 @ 4 pm. Basic application (1-5 images for $35) Expanded Application (1-10 images for $60). Exhibition proceeds fund the Joyce Elaine Grant Photography Exhibition Endowment, which funds scholarships for future photography graduate students in The Division of Visual Arts in the School of the Arts and Design at Texas Woman’s University.
AWARDS: First place will receive a solo exhibition at TWU East Gallery. Other prizes may include a Fujica STX1 Camera from Garland Camera Repair and Photographic Imaging, a gift certificate from Photographique, or a gift certificate from Lone Star Darkroom.

Bio:
Shana Lopes, PhD, is an Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She has organized exhibitions on cyanotypes, the 1906 earthquake, Atget, Wright Morris, and Eikoh Hosoe. She is the co-curator of Constellations: Photographs in Dialogue, which pairs recent acquisitions with existing work from the collection, and A Living for Us All: Artists and the WPA. Most recently, she organized Sightlines: Photographs from the Collection, on view now. Over the past fourteen years, she has gained curatorial experience at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Arizona, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
