The Neon Heater is a contemporary artist-run space in Findlay, OH with monthly exhibitions featuring a curatorial focus on conceptual and installation based works, contemporary photography and painting trends, and video and new media.

We are currently seeking proposals for solo artist and small group exhibitions exploring contemporary issues such as the climate, the socio-political landscape, geopolitics, speculative futures, retconned pasts, Apocalyptic narratives, fresh starts, and anything in-between that explores, critiques or promotes the present moment.

Proposal Details ::

Please email or share a single .pdf with names, images and project proposal, websites, resume, artist statement to theneonheater@gmail.com with the subject line 2023-2024 Open Call Submission. Proposals need not be of currently realized work, but in the case of creating future work, please include images and examples of past work. 

A $10 Submission Fee can be made to our paypal (theneonheater@gmail.com) - the submission fee helps us pay an honorarium to chosen artists.
