Call for VisArts Studio Fellowship 2023-2024

VisArts is accepting applications from local, national, and international artists for the six month Studio Fellowship in Rockville, MD. This opportunity provides individual artists or collaborative teams to create or evolve works, or develop a project in a supportive environment. Studio space is free of charge, and artists receive a $500 per month stipend. The Studio Fellowship offers time and space for two artists/collaborative artist teams to experiment and create new work. Studio Fellows will present their work in solo exhibitions at the end of their fellowships. 

 

Admission will be based on an application review by panels of artists, including painters, sculptors, film and video artists, etc.  

 

VisArts is an independent non-profit organization located in Rockville Town Square. VisArts presents exhibitions of contemporary artists in four different galleries and three programs, creating a significant presence in the metropolitan arts community.
