Are you balancing your artistic and academic practice with a family full of busy little creative bees with their own unique interests in art, the humanities, and the natural world?

Are you struggling to balance a summer event for the kids, your summer research/creative practice, and maybe a family getaway?

Instead of sending the kids to sleep-away camp, bring them along for a special, unique experience for each individual and the family as a whole. Schedule a 1 or 2 week family-friendly residency in the Sarasvati creative Space residency program at Camp Wonder Wander in the rural rolling hills of mid-south Tennessee. Slots available in June, July, and August where you’ll reserve one of two fully furnished lodging options.

How does a creative family take a summer vacation where everyone gets to tinker, play, experiment, explore, and overall engage in wonder and wander? A truly unique and quite private getaway.

What does this look like?
Experience this unique area and the farm homestead vibe (donkeys, chickens/roosters, cats, peacocks, farm dogs, and garden) with acreage along the Buffalo River. Work outside and/or have dedicated studio while the kids have customized nature-based, creative private instruction and mentorship intentionally away from the typical distractions of home life and modern society conveniences.

Depending on the age of the busy little bees in your family from toddlers to teens, you’ll receive a customized itinerary and program designed just for them based on years of experience not only as a graphic design professor (20+ yrs) and practicing artist, but also a former Girl Scout leader and a current certified Forest Therapy guide. Options include a one-off activity, a daily activity for a few hours, or an intensive study for the teen that just doesn’t want all of their advice or instruction from mom or dad.
