Transformative Impressions

The Anderson Gallery at Drake University invites artists to submit work for Transformative Impressions, a Richard Black International Juried Print Exhibition on view February–March 2026.

This exhibition seeks print-based artworks that reflect the breadth of the medium, whether grounded in traditional techniques or exploring transformative and experimental approaches.

Eligibility & Media:
Open to artists working in all printmaking methods, including but not limited to: relief, intaglio, lithography, screen printing, monotype, digital printmaking, and mixed-media print processes. International submissions are welcome.

Jurors:
Raluca Iancu (Associate Professor of Printmaking, Iowa State University)
Sang Lee (Assistant Professor of Graphic Design, Drake University)

Reception & Awards:
The opening reception and award ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5–7 PM at the Anderson Gallery, Drake University, Des Moines, IA.

Free entry
