Type: Residencies, Workshops, Exchanges [View all]
Posted by: The University of Minnesota
Deadline: Thu, June 1st, 2006

The Split Rock Arts Program is the University of Minnesota's summer series of workshops in creative writing, visual art, and design. Held on the Twin Cities’ campus and at the University’s Cloquet Forestry Center in northern Minnesota, the 23-year-old program is a coveted destination because of its promise of intensive study with outstanding artists and writers from around the world. Participants select workshops that are most appropriate to their needs and interests, and all workshops allow for significant one-to-one contact between participant and instructor. Away from the demands of daily life, participants revel in having the time and space to explore art without interruption. No prerequisites. Graduate/Undergraduate credit and scholarships available. Registration opens in February 2006. Web registration begins February 25, 2006: srap@cce.umn.edu www.cce.umn.edu/splitrockarts/ 612-625-8100
