The American Numismatic Association (ANA) welcomes applications for the 2010/2011 Art of Engraving Seminar in Colorado Springs. The seminar dates are June 26 - July 2, 2010 and June 25 - July 1, 2011. FULL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS ONE-OF-A-KIND CLASS TO TEACH THE VANISHING ART OF MEDALLIC ENGRAVING. The Art of Engraving is a two-week (one week per year) seminar underwritten by the Gilroy and Lillian P. Roberts Charitable Foundation.

Instructed by goldsmith & printmaker Laura Stocklin,
this course explores the ancient art of hand die-engraving, and the processes now used to create coins and medallions. Six candidates will receive a full 2010 scholarship.
