The Sainsbury Research Unit (SRU) at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, welcomes applicants to its Masters and PhD programmes; scholarships are offered towards fees and living costs. Anthropological, archaeological, art historical and museological perspectives are used in the study of the arts and material culture of Africa, Oceania and the Americas, past and present. The renowned Sainsbury Collection, displayed in Norman Foster's Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, is used extensively for teaching and research. Alumni of SRU Masters and doctoral programmes hold prestigious posts in academic institutions and museums world‐wide.
