A new online art journal, Arthopper.org, seeks writers for current and future content.

3 main types of content

1.) Feature Articles (reviews, interviews, essays …) (1000 - 2500 words)
2.) "Art Shorts" - (Quick reviews and commentary accompanied by a photo) (250 - 750 words)
3.) Listings of art events (openings, lectures, workshops, panels, special events …)

The coverage map includes Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Akron, Youngstown, Dayton, Toledo and the surrounding areas. Deadlines are rolling but content should be submitted in time to publish while exhibitions and events remain current.

Arthopper.org is a project of the Foundation for New Creative Projects, a Cleveland based non-profit. Currently a volunteer "society of corespondents" Arthopper.org is in the process of acquiring funding with the goal of a sustainable organization that compensates its contributors.
