Open to graduating seniors or Master’s degree candidates in DC, Maryland, or Virginia, with a major or substantial concentration in Printmaking Studies. The Excellence in Printmaking Award aims to encourage printmaking and the use of traditional, non-digital, printmaking techniques.

Prize includes: A prize of $500, One year’s membership in the Washington Print Club (WPC), An article about the prizewinner (including reproduction of one of the winner’s prints) in The WPC Quarterly, the opportunity to exhibit that print at Washington Printmakers Gallery during August following graduation, the award given at graduation or other awards ceremony.
