Advertising in CAA News
As of July 2009, CAA News has gone fully digital! The newsletter is distributed bimonthly as a downloadable PDF.
CAA News reaches a broad, informed, and discerning audience, including artists, art dealers, art historians, arts administrators, curators, museum directors, critics, and educators.
Published since 1976, CAA News presents information on CAA’s activities, programs, and conference; articles on the arts and academia; interviews with artists, scholars, writers, and curators; member achievements; and more. About 14,000 individual and 2,000 institutional members receive CAA News, which is produced six times a year (January, March, May, July, September, and November).
Below are descriptions of the three types of CAA News advertisements. Please download the Insertion Order Form for full details about rates and options.
- Nonemployment display ads include ads for upcoming conferences and symposia, graduate programs, lecture series, artists’ materials, new publications, grants and fellowships, museum and gallery exhibitions, auction houses, and more. These ads appear in the middle section of CAA News (called Currents)
- Employment display ads are for open positions in the arts, academia, and museums. They are published in the back section of CAA News (called Endnotes)
- Classified ads are text listings or line ads. In past issues, classifieds have advertised houses and apartments for rent in Europe, fellowships and residencies, touring exhibitions, conferences and symposia, calls for entries and papers, and instructional videos and DVDs
Employment classifieds are not published in CAA News; please visit the Online Career Center to post a job.
