Gartens magazine seeking submissions

irladen design studio seeks submissions to its inaugural magazine issue titled Gartens. Gartens seeks to highlight artist-owned and/or operated gardens. Your garden may exist as a set of containers on a fire escape or a plot within a larger community garden. You may grow your produce in your backyard or use an indoor garden to grow herbs. How does your creative practice intersect with or highlight your garden?

Submissions may include photographs of your garden and artworks inspired by your garden. The questionnaire below includes prompts and submission opportunities that will help focus the issue. If further information is needed or other questions arise from your answers, I’ll be in touch.

The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2025. Contributors will be notified of the next steps by October 15, 2025. Participants will each receive a copy of Gartens and will be given credit for their contributions.
