2026 Open Call for Proposals Deadline :: April 1, 2026 at 11:59PM
The Neon Heater is a contemporary artist-run space in Findlay, OH with monthly exhibitions of conceptual and installation-based works, contemporary photography and painting trends, video and new media. We are currently seeking proposals for solo artists and small group exhibitions exploring social praxis as a response to current conditions. Themes can include solidarity, sustainability, reclamation, resilience, connection, mutual aid, spirituality, or anything else that dares to envision solutions to contemporary issues.
Proposal Details :: Please email or share a single .pdf with names, images and project proposal, websites, resume, and artist statement to theneonheater@gmail.com with the subject line 2026 Open Call Submission.
A $15 submission fee can be made to our paypal (theneonheater@gmail.com) - the submission fee helps us pay an honorarium to chosen artists. Proposals need not be of currently realized work, but in the case of creating future work, please include images and examples of past projects and work.
