Cover art contest

Type: Awards, Grants, Fellowships [View all]
Posted by: Mineralogical Society of America
Deadline: Sat, May 30th, 2026

The Lead in the Environment: Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Sources, and Remediation, which is planned to be the 92nd volume in the series Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry (RiMG), published by the Mineralogical Society of America and the Geochemical Society in the Fall of 2026, is accepting submissions for a cover art contest! Entries due 30 May 2026. The wining designs will be offered $250 per book cover.

This is a double volume meaning we are looking two separate designs for both titles. Below are the table of contents for each volume to help give you a sense of the different areas each volume focuses on. We recommend searching up the covers of previous volumes (https://msaweb.org/rimg-covers/) to ascertain the usual style. Winners will receive copies of each volume.
You can use this form to indicate your interest in this contest and submit entries. A list of finalists will be notified in June 2026 and will be provided more details on exact digital specifications for the cover art.
