2022 ANNUAL CONFERENCE PIVOTS TO VIRTUAL
As of January 7, CAA has pivoted its 110th Annual Conference to an entirely virtual format. The virtual conference will provide the advantage of increased access and will significantly reduce the cost of attendance. It will continue to operate in two components over the two sets of dates originally scheduled:
February 16-19, 2022, CAA convenes online with 140 live virtual sessions via Zoom. The Book and Trade Fair opens virtual exhibits with live engagement features. The exhibits remain open until April 14, expanding the amount of exhibit time beyond the original six weeks.
March 3-5, 2022, CAA convenes online with 40 live virtual sessions via Zoom. Recorded content from both sets all sessions and activities will be available to registrants until April 14.
The Book and Trade Fair will be hosted within a virtual conference online platform exhibit hall, from February 16 to April 14. This full-engagement environment offers virtual exhibit booths that include the following features:
- An introductory text description of your organization of up to 400 words.
- Your organization’s logo.
- 10 Images for promoting your publications, products, programs or services. File size 150 mb per file.
- 10 URL hyperlinks to your main website or other locations with your content.
- 5 PDF files containing your promotional information. File size 150 mb.
- 7 Pre-recorded MP4 format videos for promoting your publications, products, programs or services.
- Appointment request function that enables attendees to request to meet you online.
- Lead capture with enhanced statistical data captured from visits to your exhibit page.
Uploading your content to the virtual exhibit booth is made easy through the Exhibitor Upload Portal, a user-friendly website allowing you to populate your virtual exhibit with all of your promotional assets in an easy step-by-step process.
The Book and Trade Fair page of the virtual conference online platform will be prominently featured with multiple prompts to encourage attendees to visit.
An advance index listing of exhibitors will be sent to registrants in advance of the conference, giving you the opportunity to offer incentives, discounts, pre-views, access to product and publication samples and ability to schedule appointments prior to the opening of the conference.
