Thanks to CAA’s Donors

Since membership fees cover less than half of CAA’s operating costs, voluntary contributions from members significantly help to facilitate the wide range of programs and services that the organization offers.

Operating Fund

The Operating Fund helps CAA maintain affordable membership dues and Annual Conference fees, implement its myriad programs and publications, and serve the international community of professionals in the visual arts. Charitable contributions are 100 percent tax deductible.

Donors Circle

The Donors Circle of Patron and Sustaining Members includes individuals who contribute to CAA above and beyond their regular dues. The full amount of dues paid in excess of $210 is tax deductible.

Life Members

Life Members are individuals who make one-time payments of $5,000 and remain active CAA members for life.

Legacy Circle

The Legacy Circle includes donors who have made a planned gift through a bequest or other estate planning options. This designation includes annual invitations to CAA special events (generally convened at CAA's Annual Conference) and listing on the website and/or CAA literature, unless anonymity is preferred.

Academic/Corporate Members

The Academic/Corporate level comprises institutional members that support CAA at the highest level.

Publications Fund

The Publications Fund supports the production of all journals produced by CAA and its editorial boards, from Art Journal to The Art Bulletin to caa.reviews. Charitable contributions are 100 percent tax deductible.

Support Grants

The Support Grants help cover expenses for graduate students in art history and studio art, and for international artists and scholars, who attend the CAA Annual Conference. Charitable contributions are 100 percent tax deductible.
